BEHIND THE SCENE
Those who remember the “Red Fish Award” presentations
may not be aware of the full story.
The following is a brief description of what was going on
behind the auditorium scene.
Every month of May
I`ve seen Bob strolling around in the shops area, of the school.
Bob would be pushing a cart, with cardboard boxes on,
a long list in his hand, going to the Woodwork shop looking for some materials.
He knew what he would create with every piece of wood he picked up
from the
recycle bin.
He would be asking for some decorative accessories,
or seek advice on what, and where or how one could find such & such item for his project.
Without having seen Bob’s Art works, I knew what he was up to,
till the end result was unveiled during the “Red Fish” presentation.
He was the sole discrete designer, and maker of these trophies.
He would use his free time and stay after school hours
to complete the design he had created.
He wrote the scenarios, and worked hard on every detail,
in order to make his presentation a success!
I take my hat off to you Bob,
that is pure unique talent, and for that, we all thank you
